Held on Friday October 18 and Saturday October 19 in St. Albert, Alberta. The World Cup had over 680 Taekwon-do athletes compete. Below are some photos of the event. The first ones are our youngest ages of 4 to 7 years. They ran an obstacle course which was timed and had numerous techniques required along the way. Over 80 of these young Taekwon-do athletes showed up to test their mettle.
The next set of photos are of the Torrent TKD Club from Lloydminster. They performed a demonstration at the end of the opening ceremonies. The grand finale was performed by the head instructor Mr. Chris Feeley, where he shattered sheets of ice with a turning kick.
