Associate Membership to ICTF Canada for 2015
This is a new level of membership that is now available to ICTF of Canada members. To join ICTF of Canada as an associate member you must be at least a first degree black belt. See below for further details on why you might like to become an associate member.
1 purpose
This membership will allow non club owners or non senior instructors to participate in membership activities on a limited basis. This will allow senior
rank black belts who do not run clubs or senior rank black belts who are not the highest level in their club as well as junior level black belts who may at some time consider opening their own locations, to gain experience and have a limited participation in member activities. This will keep them informed of the happenings of the ICTF of Canada as well as educate them on the workings of the Federation as it pertains to clubs, and students. It will enable them
to contribute their ideas and concerns through participation on committees and through attendance at meetings. It will also ensure a higher level of technical knowledge as they gain skills at the instructor seminar.
2 cost and requirements
The associate membership fee will be half of the regular membership fee. Currently the full membership fee is $300 which means the associate membership fee would be $150 for 2015.
3 benefits
Associate membership will entitle the associate member to the following benefits.
4 procedure
Any black belt interested in associate membership will need to apply and pay on line on the ICTF Canada web site. After submitting their application with
the fee, the executive committee will review their application and confirm with their instructor. Upon acceptance of their membership, they will be advised by e-mail and added to the appropriate e-mail lists. If their membership is rejected they will be refunded in full and advised by e-mail that they were not accepted as an associate member. No reason need be given for rejection.
